‘Breaking Up with Word of Faith’- Our Follow-Up Interview with Doreen Virtue

At the end of June, my husband Paul and I sat down (via Zoom) and chatted with Doreen Virtue once again to discuss all that the Lord has been doing since our initial interview released in November 2019.

Like we shared in our previous post, we were blown away by the response that we received from literally all over the world. So many people’s lives have been negatively impacted by the Word of Faith/New Apostolic Reformation/Hypercharismatic Movements, and we want nothing more than to help others start their journey to discovering the answers and the healing that their hearts are so eagerly to receive.

In addition to giving a brief update with our (unexpected) ministry, we discuss some common responses and criticisms we receive regarding Joyce specifically, as well as reacurring questions regarding Bible translations and where to look for a solid church.

<We have put together a resource page with all of that info (AND MORE!) that we pray is helpful on your journey>

We also discuss that what was even more alarming to us is that 95% of the mail we have received (and continue to receive) has come from women. This has opened our eyes to the stark reality that women are desperately in need of sound theology.

Satan has continued his same tactics from the Garden of Eden to deceive the daughters of Eve. Emily and Doreen spend some time expanding upon that topic in this interview.

Instead of lush, green pastures, so many of God’s precious sheep are settling for AstroTurf!

Check out our newest interview and let us know your thoughts!

As always, we want to thank you all for your prayers and support as we continue our mission to help those entangled in deception find their way out of the trap, break up with bad doctrine once and for all, and point them to truth that brings total freedom!
