Truth Illuminates (A Poem)

Truth Illuminates (A Poem)

But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

John 3:21 NIV

Truth shines a brilliant Light
All that is within revealing
Secrets hidden morph to lie
But succumb to God’s healing

All that is within revealing
Hurt and anger deep reside
But succumb to God’s healing
When Jesus nears to abide

Hurt and anger deep reside
And lies believed appear fact
Til Jesus nears to abide
Makes with us a holy pact

When lies believed appear fact
Only the Gospel will dispel
God offers us a holy pact
To forever with us dwell

Only Gospel truth dispels
Secrets hidden once as lie
God forever with us dwells
Truth shines His brilliant Light
