EWTN Hostess Cries Live On-Air While Reading Post About Babies Who Died From Abortion…..

This brought tears to my eyes! 😭

EWTN Senior Digital Media Specialist Debbie Cowden broke down into tears during the station’s March for Life coverage after encountering a stirring pro-life Instagram post.

Little Way Design Co. published an Instagram photo featuring a baby surrounded by the words, “For all the wonder that is forever lost.” The post describes the potential lives of children who never lived after dying from abortion.

Cowden begins reading the first portion of the post, but eventually breaks down halfway through.

Cowden reads, “for all the wonder that was forever lost, (I’m not going to be able to read the whole thing, but I will do my best…

“For the blocks that won’t get stacked, for the footsteps that won’t be taken, for the Legos that won’t be built, for the sun and its warmth that won’t be felt, for the swings that won’t swing, for the toy trains and trucks that won’t get pushed…”

Cowden pauses, but breaks down and continues reading:

“’For the words that won’t be spoken, for the dreams that will never be dreamed…’ (I’m so sorry.)”

The host then explains the importance of this country’s pro-life movement, most especially the women and children abortion affects.

With tears in her eyes, she also explains how the future of America will “forever change” due to the “scourge of abortion.”

Here’s Debbie’s important message:

“There is so much at stake in this movement; there are so many lives that have been lost. My prayer is that today and beyond, our enthusiasm and our fervor will never waver.

“There are lives at stake. There are mothers who will be forever hurt. There are children who will never get to meet their siblings, and there is a future that will be forever changed by this scourge of abortion.”

“So please, if you are at home right now, if you will just stop what you are doing and take a moment to pray that Our Lord will have mercy on our country, and that we will see an end to abortion too, for the sake of so many souls—for the sake of so many children.”

Pray a rosary for our country, and all those affected by the sin of abortion!
